I am a music graduate from the University of Manchester (2:1). My studies covered practical, theoretical and composition modules including solo and ensemble performance, classical analysis and Jazz improvisation and finally film composition. Since graduating I have been working as a Piano Tutor and Teaching Assistant alongside being a musician in Manchester. I have wide range of musical taste and always apply my in depth knowledge whenever I am Teaching, Composing, Producing and Performing any genre.
Some of genres that I cover are:
- Classical
- Jazz
- Pop
- RnB
- Soul
- Blues

Overall I have been playing piano for over 15 years and have been teaching for the past 3. I also have a passion for producing and composing music of all genres. I am very adaptable and can meet the needs and music tastes of my students so that the lessons are both enjoyable and effective.

My duty is to bring out the musician from within you and develop your passion for the piano.
Regardless of your age or background, anyone has the capacity to learn and enjoy this wonderful instrument.
In general, my lessons will have 3 key aspects:
- Technical exercises to develop finger dexterity, articulation and strength.
- Learn Music chosen by you or recommended by me depending on what genre you want to learn - Classical, Jazz, Pop, RnB and Many More.
- Finally, I like to implement some Theoretical knowledge as we lessons progress to help develop your understanding of music.
These 3 criteria will work together with the objective of developing you as a strong, versatile and independent pianist.

Most importantly, I will teach you how to practice effectively, something that is overlooked by many students leading them to frustration and sometimes quitting. You do not need to spend countless hours with repetitive practice, but rather, spend short well structured sessions with clear objectives and you will see rapid growth in your playing.
