Perfect for anyone aged 4 and up — we’ll match you with a guitar that fits your size and comfort.

1-to-1 or small group

Choose between one-to-one lessons or small private groups.

Grades

Beginners & Advanced players

We offer lessons for all levels — from beginners to advanced players, up to Grade 8 and diploma level.

Duration

30 / 45 / 60min

For little ones, 30 minutes is usually best; 45 minutes suits older kids, and 60 minutes is ideal for teens and adults.

Usually one lesson per week. We’ll find a time that works best for you — totally flexible!

Join whenever you’re ready! Students can take lessons during term time only, or choose our flexible monthly plan.

Beginners

  • Equivalent to Rockschool/Trinity Rock & Pop Debut to Grade 3
  • Learn guitar tabs and fingering
  • Basic Music Theory
  • Basic playing techniques such as strumming, picking, pull, slide, etc.
  • Basic chord progressions
  • Basic scales & arpeggios
  • Simple arrangement
  • Guitar Maintenance
  • 30, 45 or 60 minute sessions

Intermediate

  • Equivalent to Grade 4 to 5
  • Economy picking, harmonics and other intermediate playing techniques
  • Intermediate chords
  • Intermediate scales and arpeggios 
  • Intermediate arrangement
  • Study different genres (Pop, Rock, Blues, Funk, etc.)
  • Voice Arrangement and modulation
  • Improvisation
  • 45 or 60 minute sessions

Advanced

  • Equivalent to Grade 6 to 8
  • Advanced Scales & Arpeggios
  • Advanced chords (Chord substitution & Jazz chords)
  • Advanced improvisation techniques
  • Introduction to Mode
  • Advanced playing techniques
  • Jazz playing style
  • Alternative tuning
  • Advanced Improvisation
  • 45 or 60 minute sessions
